Southold Town’s conservation subdivision law, by its nature, is generous to both the Town and the Developer, resulting in a win/win situation across the board with the biggest winner being those who have the opportunity to own a Conservation Subdivision home and property.

 

Under the town’s Conservation Subdivision Law, the number of housing units that would typically be allowed on a particular tract of land is reduced significantly and at least 75 percent of the land is preserved.
